SPOTLIGHT - Owen Caliri

If you have ordered a product from Ion Concert Media recently you probably have gotten emails from Owen Caliri. As our online sales manager, Owen is one of the most visible members of our team, communicating with both customers and our Production Team on a regular basis.

Ion Office Manager Owen Caliri

Owen started working at Ion in the summer of 2019, when he was just about to start his junior year of high school. At first he was working in the office just a few hours each week, doing small jobs and helping out periodically on the Production Team.

Over time, as he learned more of our systems, he was given added responsibilities in sales and production.  This past spring, as he prepared to graduate from high school, his position was expanded again and he became our office manager. Today Owen serves as our Online Sales Manager and does many other jobs in the office.

During this past summer his help was essential as we launched our new website and he even took over big chunks of the Production Manager role for a time. He researched and and established our new Amazon S3 cloud storage account and figured out how to deliver our product files from that cloud storage system to our customers when they order online. He also helps out with file production and licensing. All of this in addition to his core duties in the sales department.

We feel very blessed to have Owen on our team. This fall he will begin a 2-year program in audio production at Hennepin Technical College while he continues to work in the Ion office.

Owen graduated in May from PiM Arts High School in Eden Prairie, MN. During his high school career he played in the band, the jazz band and the pit orchestra and participated in cross country and trap shooting. He lives with his family in a suburb of the Twin Cities and hopes to find a career where he can combine interests in art and music with his interests in science and technology. We hope that career keeps him right here at Ion Concert Media.
